GRADUATION

I must admit that 2008 has been the hardest year for our family since 1998. We have gone through so much this year with Keith starting grad school in January, to having Savannah Grace in February, to moving out of our beloved Corinth, Mississippi in July. Just this last week we crossed off a big challenge from our list. Keith GRADUATED!!! For the last year he has been attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville to complete an Executive MBA in Aerospace. That means that every other month he has to go to the UT campus to complete a residence program for 15 days. Every week he also has to do a three hour telecon. with his professors.
He also attended an International trip to China for two weeks. Our family was blessed to get to fly out to Tennessee to see Keith walk across the stage and be hooded. Afterward we attended a reception held for the graduates, where we got to meet all of Keith's classmates. I was pleased to hear the compliments (which I already knew to be true) from several of Keith's classmates. Later in the evening we left the kids with a babysitter and went out for a fancy dinner with the other students and their spouses. What a great time we had. We figured he would only graduate once, so we might as well have a great time. Next week it is back to work, and school so we planned a fun surprise for the kids. (I will write more on that once we get back to Utah.)

YES we're proud!!! You all have helped make this happen for Keith. Lots of things given up so "Dad could or would be at school. Things are only going to get a lot better in 2009. Congrats to all of you.

Congrats on the fancy new hoodie. Those things are expensive and hard to come by!!

When Neal graduated from law school, we did the whole graduation thing, but skipped all of the receptions. He was so sick of school, he just wanted the piece of paper and the exit. So long, sucka!!
