While we were in Mississippi we had the opportunity of having many sets of missionaries in our home. I tried to feed them at least once a week. One missionary that our family grew very fond of was Elder Tyler Shearer. He was awesome, a very good role model for Nathan. When he was transferred right before Christmas, Nathan cried for days. At the end of his mission he extended a month and asked to come back to our area, so Nathan was able to see him again before we left. Just last week he returned home to Idaho. So on Sunday we woke up bright and early, got the kids ready and headed up to Pocatello, Idaho. We got into church and sat right in the middle. It was fun to see Tyler with his family. They were so warm and welcoming. They actually invited us to their home after the meeting to have dinner with their family. It was cute to see Tyler walking around the house with Nathan, showing him his room, and all around. Nathan asked if we would ever see him again, and I told him that the next time we would see him would be at his wedding. Thanks Tyler for being a great example to Nathan. Hopefully he will grow up to be a great Missionary like you. Thanks for coming into our home and having the spirit with you. For washing dishes each and every time you ate with us. Thanks for the extra "reading material" and asking me if I trusted you. I know you will have so much success in your life.

That's so special that Nathan was able to have that in his life. What a fun thing to do for that missionary. You guys seem to have had a very blessed life living in Mississippi with wonderful friends.
