Where the deer and the antelope play

After being cooped up in a tiny apartment for the passed week, we decided to get out of the house and find something fun to do. Antelope Island State park is just about 10 miles from our apartment, so we drove out there to see what we could see. Right away we so large herds of the buffalo. Some even had calves with them. We also saw antelope, a coyote, a snake, and tons of large birds. It was so much fun. We even found a trail and hiked to the top where there was an awesome look out of the Great Salt Lake. And just because no one whined and everyone had a good time, Daddy treated us to ice cream afterwards. Thanks for a super fun day!

We have never been out there, but it looks like a lot of fun. Is that ranch free? What a great family day. Thanks for the fun idea.

It cost us $9 to get into the state park, but the ranch is free. I would bring a picnic lunch with me and some extra water. It is jut a nice, easy time.
